Quantum Challenge - A Leap Forward in Encryption
Quantum computing poses a potential threat to data security by potentially cracking contemporary encryption standards, such as AES-256. However, cryptography researchers are responding to this threat with quantum-resistant encryption or post-quantum cryptography, designed to withstand quantum computing attacks.
